A magical retelling of the Norwegian folk tale, Peer Gynt with music by Edvard Grieg.
Step into the magical world of In the Hall of the Mountain King, an engaging family concert inspired by the Norwegian folk tale, Peer Gynt. With Edvard Grieg’s beautiful and energetic music performed by the Regent Wind Quartet alongside narration and illustrations, this cross-arts performance is perfect for introducing children to classical music.
The story takes us on a journey through the Norwegian countryside, a wedding and eventually to the mysterious lair of the Mountain King. Will Peer escape the trolls to make it back home?
Join us from 12.30pm for additional craft activities, taking place in the church prior to the performance.
