Rainbow Fused Glass

As part of Ely Arts Festival we are offering you the opportunity to make a fused glass rainbow stick to bring colour and joy to your home. In this unique session you will create a 3cm x 15cm hanging decoration using a wide range of stunning glass. Come and get creative with a friend or bring your children for family time together. (Children under 16 doing the activity solo must have an adult to accompany them) You will begin by learning the principles and theory of glass cutting, fusing and firing. After this you will be taught how to cut the glass and try cutting the glass yourself. Other techniques you will be introduced to will include fusing clear and coloured glass using fritt, confetti, stringers and noodles. This relaxed, fun session is suitable for beginners and anyone over 7.
