Covid-19 Info
Overview
The festival committee have the safety of the community as a top priority. It wants to make sure that the events they manage are carefully considered and delivered in-line with Covid regulations.
A thorough risk assessment will be carried out for all festival committee managed events and the relevant safety measures will be outlined on the event information.
The festival committee is keeping a close eye on the government's current Covid guidance and will amend events and safety measures as appropriate on an ongoing basis. Therefore it is a good idea to check the website for updates.
Event changes and cancellations
People booking for events that are managed by the festival committee, which are ticketed, will need to provide contact details at the time of booking, so that they can be contacted should any changes or cancellations occur.
Should any events managed by the festival committee need to be cancelled due to Covid-19 regulation changes a full refund will be given.
Unfortunately refunds cannot be given if a person cannot attend an event for any reason; although tickets can be transferred to someone else directly by the ticket holder should they wish.
Events managed by external groups/organisations
All event/activity organisers that submit their events to be part of the festival are required to conduct their own risk assessments and are responsible for their own safety measures. Where possible, the safety measures they're taking will be published on their event information, but it is recommended that people make direct contact with the organiser of the event if they have any questions.
People should check the event organiser's information regarding their refund/cancellation policies.
The festival committee aim to publish accurate information, as supplied by the event organisers, but errors can occur from time to time.
The festival committee cannot accept any responsibility for any losses, errors or cancellations, or curtailments relating to events and activities managed by third parties.
