Back in 2006, Hollywood descended upon Ely Cathedral, to film Elizabeth: The Golden Age. Many local people were involved, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Cate Blanchett, Geoffrey Rush and Clive Owen! Ely Arts Festival are celebrating this event with a chance to see this movie on the silver screen, but also to hear some of the stories behind the making of the film with a special pre-movie roundtable discussion! 

When Queen Elizabeth’s reign is threatened by ruthless familial betrayal and Spain’s invading army, she and her shrewd adviser must act to safeguard the lives of her people.
