Newmarket Chamber Orchestra

Newmarket Chamber Orchestra is delighted to return to perform at the Ely Arts Festival with an exciting programme at the newly refurbished St Mary's Church. It features Mozart's Symphony No.31 'Paris' which is packed full of innovative and thrilling music which would have wowed the Parisian audience in 1778. This is complemented with Fauré’s beautiful and pastoral Suite from Masques et Bergamasques. 

The concert begins with a Canzon by Giovanni Gabrieli from 17th century Venice with three instrumental ‘choirs’ creating a surround sound performance which will sound perfect in the acoustic of St Mary's church. A very unique start to a programme of classical music.!
